Not a great day for me to compose a blog post on health and fitness today, as today I feel, blah and not just blah, but very,very tired blah! Today everything is a chore. I have had an allergic reaction to something over the past few days which has meant itchy hives, rashes, and swollen hands. I am not sure what has caused the reaction but I have my suspicions. I have been taking anti-histamines which of course has made me very tired, but I think just being over weight and over 40 years, makes me very tired.
Fitness Update
I am a little sad because I have had to stop going to ballet. It’s a shame as I was really enjoying it but due to circumstances beyond my control, I have had no choice but to give it up. Now I am looking for something else I can do. It is not easy as where I live have very few opportunities for do fitness classes, the options are limited and some nights I now have other commitments, so it limit’s my time. Maybe once the weather warms up some other classes might become available. In the meantime I am doing bits and pieces at home.
Plans
WOLF RUN TRAINING – My aim is to complete the Wolf Run and training has started, it is just slow progress. Getting my fitness levels up has always been a struggle. Even though it is slow at least progess is being made.
Goals
My goals for 2023 remain the same. I have added no new ones for now.
- Lose weight (as always)
- Get fitter (same)
- Complete the Wolf Run (autumn 2023/Spring 2024)
- Carry on with controlled breathing and meditation in mornings
February Goals
My main goal for February is to start a lunch time walking habit at work. It is something I have considered for a couple of months but it has been cold and icey. Not great weather to venture out. Even though February can be changable, I am hoping we might have some dry, bright days to make it possible.
