My Health & Fitness Plans have taken a little bit of a nose dive during October. I appear to have had an on/off cold which alternates between my head and chest. I am hoping it will go soon as it appears to have lingered around for a very long time. I have also had my flu and covid vaccinations, so I am hoping these will see off the worst of it. Besides the illness the weather had also all been abysmal and the swimming pool has been closed. Everything feels as though it has been against me this month.

Despite the bad weather and on those days when the sun has made a brief appearance, I have done quite a lot of walking. I am certainly getting my steps in most days.

Plans

TRAINING PLAN – For November I am going to put together a training plan, it is something I have been meaning to do for a while.

WOLF RUN TRAINING – I am still thinking of doing this next year. I am trying to improve my staminia on the treadmill and crosstrainer.

Goals

My goals for 2023 remain the same. I have added no new ones for now.

  • Lose weight – lost a little not a lot
  • Get fitter – some improvement
  • Complete the Wolf Run (autumn 2024)
  • Carry on with controlled breathing and meditation in mornings (or evenings)

Goals

Below are my goals from now until my Health and Fitness Post in November. I will try and keep these posts to a Sunday now, as on Friday I intend to go to the gym – next post Sunday 26 November 2023.

  • Complete Training Plan
  • Set an achievable walking goal (IRL & Treadmill)
  • Relook at healthy eating
  • Blog Post – Self Care
