2018 My Year Review

It looks like we made it… A new year is upon us once again and I wonder what this year will have in store?

Usually my first post of the year is a huge look back on world events during the previous year, however, 2018 did not see a lot of good news in the world so I thought I would give it a miss this time and focus on my year.

My word for 2018 was FOCUS 

This was a good word as I really did change things around to Focus on what I want to do eventually. I began a new journey which will hopefully lead to where I want to get to in the future. To be able to Focus on this though I have had to let go of a few things. Initially one of those things was this Blog as I had to restructure my life. I am in a routine now (sort of) so I am going to attempt to fit my blog into my life again.

So, what else happened in 2018?

This year I had two significant health scares. There is no point going on about it as they were only scares, and there are no concerns at the moment. My health in general is roughly the same. The rheumatoid arthritis is taking its toll and I spend most of the time with aches in various places. I have only had the flu once this winter, so not too bad.

I am annoyed as the last good Doctor of the surgery has left, so now I have no one to see when I go to the Doctors. All the Doctors there now are new and it’s just not the same.

There were no holidays last year for me. My daughter however experienced camping for the very first time. She went camping with my father, my brother and his wife, and her family. I don’t think roughing it was for her, especially as where she was had no internet.

2018 has seen a new edition to the family.

Very recently I became an Auntie. My brother and his wife now have a little boy. He was born on the 7 December, weighing in at 7lb 2oz. He is gorgeous and a delightful new edition to the family. His older canine brother, Tommy is still getting used to the new edition.

Not much to report really but not a bad year.
