Another day, another month, another year and another opportunity. Welcome to 2023, now is the time to look forward, so I thought I would share my plans for the year with you. Not that they are anything spectacular or will knock your socks off, but I do plan to stick to them.

My Word for 2023: PRODUCTIVITY

I am planning on doing a lot this year, but the secret will be not to feel overwhelmed. In previous years I have taken on too much and have got stressed, ended up not doing as much as I wanted and then felt like a failure. Not this year. This year we are doing it, in handy bitesized chunks and I have plan. I also have a list. I love a good list.

Goals for 2023

Below are a five goals I have for this blog for 2023.

  • To post at least twice a week on Lulu-By-Place
  • Keep track of my fitness and (hopefully) weightloss in a monthly post
  • Post my 50 Things before 50 List
  • Do something interesting at least once a month – full disclosure, this will be of interest to me, so my interesting thing might not be that interesting for you
  • Social Media Goal – To post at least once a week on Instagram (I keep forgetting)

As I mentioned earlier I do have lots of plans but I am going to approach them gradually, adding maybe something new each month.

I also plan to post on some special/awareness days. On the 27th of this month is – Holocaust Memorial Day. The theme this year is ordinary people and I am currently planning a post for this.


Just a brief post for today. I look forward to posting more throughout the month and 2023. I am hoping it will be a successful start to 2023 for us all.
