Wow, its May today and also May Day, when did that happen? As you might have noticed during the month of April I was participating in the April A to Z Challenge. Not only was I completing the challenge on this blog, but also my 3 other blogs too at the same time. Now I know I stated that I wanted to increase my blogging but completing 4 blog posts a day was very challenging. Next year, unless I have time to prepare, I think I will just complete the challenge on one blog. (You watch this time next year I will say exactly the same thing after completing it on all four blogs again).

April A to Z Challenge

My theme was – Places I Have Been

Even though at times I struggled with the challenge, I am glad I participated and I also enjoyed my theme. I am not sure if anyone else did, but revisiting places I have been brought back a lot of fond memories. I made the decision to stick to places I have been in the UK. Though it was really just England and Wales as I have never been to Scotland or Northern Ireland.

During the challenge I also managed to visit a number of other participants blogs, I still have a few left to visit for a first time. I am going to be revisiting some as they were writing stories and I want to find out what happened, also I had trouble leaving comments on the new Jet Pack App for WordPress. Every time I left a message, it world say error. I’m pretty sure it is a fault with the app, and I have reported it. ‘

My Word for 2023: PRODUCTIVITY

When I blogged previously I would have a monthly post at the end of the month with the upcoming awareness days. I thought I might do this again, starting officially at the end of May. I was unable to post one for May due to the A to Z Challenge, so I thought I would post a few below:

Goals for 2023

Below are a five goals I have for this blog for 2023.

  • To post at least twice a week on Lulu-By-Place as you know during April I exceeded this goal… whoop!! Now I just need to keep it up.
  • Keep track of my fitness and (hopefully) weight loss in a monthly post During May I am going to get serious about getting fit and losing weight. I had originally planned to do these posts on a Friday but I am going to change this to a Thursday.
  • Post my 50 Things before 50 List List is posted just need to look at completing some items from the list.
  • Do something interesting at least once a month – full disclosure, this will be of interest to me, so my interesting thing might not be that interesting for you – During April I visited the Workplace Event at the NEC which was very interesting. Especially the cyber safety and health and safety stands.
  • Social Media Goal – To post at least once a week on Instagram (I keep forgetting) – During May I am going to remember to take some photos and post on Instagram.

  1. Congratulations on finishing the A to Z. I didn’t realise you were doing four! I loved your places in England posts as I had been to some and of course there are always new ones to visit if I ever get back to Britain. Cheers, Linda
