Let June’s breeze carry away your worries, leaving you with a heart full of peace.

Apologies for this post being a little later than planned. At the end of May, myself and my family travelled to Alvor, Portugal. We had a wonderful week of relaxation by the pool in the hotel but 3 hours before I was due to leave the hotel to catch my flight home, I got very, very sick. It was horrible. I won’t go into details but it was not a pleasant experience. This meant I was unable to fly, so I ended up having to pay for an extra night in the hotel and another flight home. It is now nearly a week later and I still don’t feel a 100%. I still have stomach cramps every time I eat or drink and feel very tired, but every day I feel a bit more alive than I did the day before so that’s positive.

MAY Update

May was a busy month but a good month. I have rented a storage unit and I currently sorting my bedroom for my new craft storage. Once it has been delivered and built I will post a photo but I am very excited for it to arrive. Finally I will have a place to work and create art which I have been missing for a couple of years now.

I have also completed a few things off my 101 Things in a 1001 Days List.

39. Go to the Beach – Of course I went to the beach in Portugal. It was beautiful and very hot, 34 Degrees Celsius, so did not stay long.

90. DO Karaoke – Yes I sang on the karaoke, not just once, not twice but three times.

98. Have a Spa Day – Myself, my mother and daughter all spent the day at Champneys at the beginning of May. I have already posted about it >>>Here<<< but we had a great time.

June plans

My plans for June are currently not very adventurous. I have several things on my 101 List I need to update you on but I need to get back into the rhythm of blogging. Find my voice again. As I mentioned earlier I am currently in the process of sorting my bedroom ready for the craft cupboard and I have so much I need to do there.

I really want to see the new How to Train Your Dragon next week, too.

Then I need to find some time to get to the gym. I went swimming everyday, apart from the sick day while on holiday and I would like to try to do this regularly.

I hope you all have a good June and I am going to try harder to post at least once a week.

Toodles
